Skiing by the Riviera

There are three of them: Isola 2000, Auron and Valberg. Three ski resorts in the Southern Alps, only an hour and a half away from Nice international airport. At Isola 2000 from the peak of its Sistron summit, a mere 2,603 meters above ground, clear skies allow skiers views of both the Cervin Mountain in Switzerland and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a place of utter geographical idiosyncrasy where the sun and the snow come together. Skis on his feet, our journalist takes you on a discovery of the miles of hidden ski trails, half pipes, snow parks, luxury facilities and hotel spas situated around these little known resorts in the South-East of France.
